How you succeed
To succeed in this role, you'll need to build strong relationships with our clients to understand their needs and transition plans. You'll work closely with external and internal stakeholders, such as industry partners and business units across the Bank to develop tailored solutions that meet those needs. You'll be able to communicate the value of sustainable and transition finance and offer advisory to our clients and stakeholders. It's a challenging role, but one that offers great fulfilment and impact for those who are passionate about and finance.
What you will be doing:

Develop and add value to relationships with clients to understand their needs
-
Work with external and internal stakeholders to develop tailored and innovative solutions
-
Communicate the value of sustainable and transition finance and offer advisory to clients and stakeholders
-
Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to pursue them
-
Collaborate across the Group on the Bank's financed emissions and net-zero strategy, analysis, and implementation
What we are looking for:
-
A degree in a relevant field, such as finance, business, environmental science, or
-
At least 7 years of experience in a related field, preferably in sustainable finance frontline or have structured sustainable finance transactions
-
Candidates with strong subject matter expertise from non-financial industries, such as in built environment , energy transition, electrification, Scope 3 decarbonisation or related areas are highly encouraged to apply. Cross-industry knowledge is very much valued.

Strong subject matter expertise and understanding of relevant principles and market practices including Taxonomy, transition, , and nature

Versatile, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

With strategic thinking and leadership skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform on multiple priorities

Passionate about and finance, with a strong desire to make a positive impact

Qualification of Hong Kong Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) - Green and Sustainable Finance – Professional (Role 1) is preferred
