Key Responsibilities:

Oaktree’s Capital Solutions team focuses on enhancing Oaktree’s strategic relationships with the broader capital markets community and is responsible for all financing, seasoning and warehousing activity across Oaktree funds.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist with transaction execution of new subscription lines, NAV, asset‑based and hybrid facilities and lead extensions/amendments

    • Oversee the creation and maintenance of a master database for subscription lines, NAV and asset-based facilities in addition to a firm wide wallet share and legal fee tracking database, ensuring accuracy and clarity

    • Continuously monitor facilities including tracking subline utilization, borrowing-base trends to support recommendations for upsizing or downsizing

    • Serve as internal contact for fund finance inquiries from portfolio managers, relationship managers, legal, investment team professionals, fund accounting, Treasury and KYC teams

    • Familiarity with fund legal documents such as credit agreements, fee letters, limited partnership agreements and structures

  • Manage day-to-day operations, reporting and deal execution for Oaktree’s season and sell program called Origination Vehicle Solution (OVS)

    • Create and manage OVS KPIs and metrics for regular distribution to key stakeholders

    • Monitor standard deal execution processes and immediately raise deviations

    • Partner with various teams to ensure seasoning and warehouse portfolios move through the workflow and adhere to client risk/concentration limits

    • Recommend and implement improvements to existing architecture and process

    • Oversee implementation of new technology and automation, including testing and change management

  • Lead India based team on daily activities and project deliverables

  • Lead the planning and execution of transformation initiatives from ideation to completion with clear and practical steps to achieve project goals. 

    • This includes but not limited to defining project scope, objectives, assumptions, dependencies, risks, value proposition/rationale, and developing and managing project plans, driving actions to support execution of those plans, as well as conceptualizing and architecting solutions

Experience Required:

  • Minimum 8 - 12 years relevant business experience (consulting, investment banking, advisory, finance, capital markets, corporate development)

  • The candidate must have experience and interest learning AI models and tools and use cases for implementation in the business

  • The candidate must have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills or with financial or investment related transactions

  • The successful candidate must demonstrate considerable initiative and be a self-starter with an ability to close out tasks quickly and accurately

  • Proven track record of collaborating across groups and gain the support needed from various stakeholders;

Education:

A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Economics, Accounting, Finance or related field (and/or equivalent experience).
