Business Function
Corporate and Investment Banking provides corporate customers with a full range of commercial banking products and services, including cash management services, current accounts, time deposits, trade finance, working capital finance, term loans and foreign exchange. Through our continued commitment, DBS has cultivated long-standing relationships with its customers in the region that are based on account relationship management, service differentiation, product development and rigorous credit standards.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow relationships with Brokers sector customers, acting as the primary point of contact and owning client strategy, revenue targets, and wallet share expansion.
- Identify and execute business opportunities across lending, structured finance, syndication, treasury, and cash products, aligned with the bank’s strategic priorities.
- Perform and oversee client onboarding, KYC/ CDD, and periodic reviews to ensure full compliance with regulatory and internal requirements
- Process and ensure credit processing/ reviews and all other administrative tasks are managed properly within the prescribed timeframe
- Collaborate with product partners to structure and execute transactions efficiently
- Monitor client credit quality, market developments, and risk exposure; proactively recommend actions to mitigate risks
- Strong analytical and business development with sound knowledge on banking and financial products
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree holder or above in Business Administration and related disciplines
- Passed in LE 1, 7, 8 or equivalent is a must
- Minimum 8 year’s relationship management experience in institutional banking, or 12 year’s solid experience in developing and managing relationships with corporate clients
- Strong credit analysis and risk management skills as well as ability to analyses and make sound judgements on complex financial information
- Good time management, organizational, relationship building skills
- Knowledge of Treasury Products, Interbank Services, Clearing or cash management is a plus
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in English, Cantonese and Putonghua
