Job description

Role Summary
The System Integration Engineer is part of the Radar System & Application (S&A) organization and is responsible for ensuring system-level quality of radar solutions across hardware and embedded software domains. The role focuses on integration, validation, and delivery readiness of automotive radar products in a multi-disciplinary environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform system integration of radar solutions including RF front-end, validation boards, and embedded software

  • Ensure system-level validation across hardware and software releases using reference applications

  • Execute regression testing and customer use-case validation

  • Support silicon bring-up and early validation phases

  • Conduct RF and mmWave measurements in laboratory environments (anechoic 

  • chamber, RF benches)

  • Develop automation tools for test execution, data acquisition, and analysis (Python, 

  • MATLAB, Java)

  • Analyze system issues, identify root causes, and support debugging activities

  • Generate technical reports and communicate results to stakeholders

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Software, Hardware, Validation, Safety, 

  • Architects)

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or PhD in Electronics, RF Engineering, Embedded Systems, or equivalent
  • 2 to 5 years of experience
  • Strong knowledge of RF / mmWave systems, ideally automotive radar (76–81 GHz)
  • Experience with radar systems (FMCW principles, signal processing is a plus)
  • Understanding of embedded software architectures and HW/SW interaction
  • Experience in system integration and debugging of complex systems
  • Familiarity with RF laboratory equipment and test benches
  • Programming skills in Python and/or MATLAB

  • Experience with Functional Safety (ISO 26262) is a plus
