Global Transaction Services (GTS) comprises of Cash & Trade, Securities Services and Fiduciary Services. In an increasingly borderless world marked by burgeoning trade flow, expertise in trade finance services is an invaluable asset. With cash the lifeblood of every company, so too, is a good understanding of how to manage these cashflows. Trade Finance, together with Cash Management, is the mainstay of GTS, and is extended to SME and corporate clients for their local and cross-border financial transaction needs.
Job Purpose: Drive the cash management product strategy - develop, enhance, maintain and roll out cash management products/services based on market relevancy. Lead and direct the Cash Product Managers alignment with the overall GTS Product strategy.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Develop (enhance and maintain) new product/service initiatives based on local market requirements, including roll-out of group initiatives relevant to the market.
- Ensure product governance; adherence to risks, regulations, and controls required by internal policies and external regulators.
- Responsible for product readiness, including overall support models.
- Drive commercialization for products.
- Own the P&L for each product.
- Conduct regular product reviews, including pricing, support models, and competitor benchmarking.
- Drive product strategy.
- Lead and guide Cash Product Managers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and technology, to ensure seamless product delivery
- Identify and analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to drive product innovation and enhancements
- Oversee the product development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, testing, and implementation
- Manage and mentor the product management team, fostering their professional development and growth
- Ensure the cash and transaction banking products meet regulatory and compliance requirements
- Represent the product management team in senior-level meetings and presentations
Required Experience:
- Work experience in banking or similar industry, preferably in product development.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good project management skills; IT knowledge is a plus.
- Teamwork capability.
Education / Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from reputable universities
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal ( English)
