Job description
Role Purpose
The Sustainable Manufacturing Water Program Manager implements the sustainable manufacturing strategy and roadmap specifically for water recycling and water stewardship, coordinating across key stakeholders to achieve corporate sustainable manufacturing goals.
Key Stakeholders / Interfaces
Works in coordination with the Sustainable Manufacturing Program Director, Site Leads, Controller, and Procurement Director. Reports progress to the Program Director, Steering Team, and Program Board.
Scope of Responsibilities / Expectations
Implement the sustainable manufacturing strategy and roadmap for Water Recycling and Water Stewardship, including:
• Develop business processes, training, reports, and analytics to achieve water reduction and reuse goals.
• Ensure Technical Project Review via review board for water-related projects.
• Maintain alignment of water recycling, wastewater, and reuse projects across manufacturing sites.
• Lead development and deployment of site water balance and metering strategies.
• Support corporate performance models to track progress toward water targets.
• Ensure timely and accurate site updates for water project forecasting.
• Standardize CapEx reporting for water projects and maintain -related records.
• Coordinate wastewater management and reuse initiatives with Operations, Facilities, and Engineering groups.
- Lead water related data accuracy, audit processes, and awareness of regulatory requirements.
- Ensures governance and data-driven decision making through the Change Board process
- Represent NXP in relevant consortia (SEMI, SIA, etc.)
• Utilize benchmarking and data to support water-risk prioritization and roadmap planning.
• Assess program-level water risks and develop mitigation plans.
Additional Responsibilities
Research emerging water-related technologies, engage suppliers, represent the company in water stewardship forums, and report program progress and risks to leadership.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 12 years of related experience (or equivalent).
• 5+ years in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Program or project leadership experience; PMP preferred.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and executive communication skills. Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools; Power BI and data visualization skills preferred.
• Willingness to travel 10–20%.
