Team Summary

The Visa Commercial Solutions (VCS) team is a world-class commercial organization experiencing tremendous double-digit growth as we expand into new payment flows and continue to grow our core card solutions. This is an incredibly exciting opportunity to join our team as we are expanding to bring payment solutions and associated services to clients around the globe. Our global clients and partners deploy our solutions to serve the needs of Small Businesses, Middle Market Clients, Large Corporate Clients and Governments.

We work closely with Financial Institutions, Issuers, Merchants, Fintech and other ecosystem players to deliver these services. We believe that the market is at an inflection point whereby Visa can play a larger role in building and delivering solutions around the world. Our focus within Commercial Solutions is to identify needs, assess opportunities and options and quickly act upon our vision while ensuring strong execution. Key Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

The Senior Manager will drive strategy execution, portfolio optimization, and market enablement across priority markets. This role focuses on partnering with markets, issuers, and cross-functional teams to translate strategy into execution, supported by data-driven insights, targeted initiatives, and strong stakeholder alignment.

1. Market Execution & Issuer Engagement

  • Partner with AEs and markets to deliver issuer-specific strategies, assets, and campaigns

  • Drive new program development (consumer-to-SMB, fintech, expansion plays)

  • Support pipeline growth and key client engagements, including attack deals

  • Accelerate go-to-market execution and program rollout

2. Data, Insights & Opportunity Identification

  • Analyze MIS and market data to identify growth opportunities and gaps

  • Develop issuer mapping and market heatmaps to prioritize focus areas

  • Track key performance metrics (PV, CIF, spend) and refine execution

3. Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Product, Marketing, VCA, and Partnerships to deliver integrated solutions

  • Align global strategy with local market execution

  • Support development of go-to-market strategies and supporting assets

4. Product & Solution Enablement

  • Build strong understanding of SB products, value propositions, and roadmap

  • Support product commercialization, enhancements, and launches

  • Embed value-added services and partnerships into issuer propositions

  5. Program Execution & Governance

  • Drive execution of priority initiatives and programs (short- and mid-term)

  • Ensure adherence to Visa processes, risk, and compliance frameworks

  • Monitor delivery against plans and ensure timely execution across market

Small Business payments are among the fastest growing payment sectors, and you will lead, identify and deliver against current and future client and customer needs, sharing best practices and evolving the product strategy and roadmap.

Projects you will be a part of:

• A team driving B2B payments for domestic and international flows.

• A growing payments ecosystem that offers both card-based and non-card-based solutions

• Creating new payment experiences and flows

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

What you will need:

• 10 years of experience in payments, banking, consulting, or strategy roles

• Experience in SMB, commercial cards, or B2B payments preferred

• Strong analytical skills with ability to translate insights into actionable plans

• Proven ability to work in matrixed, cross-functional environments

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

What will also help:

• Solid understanding of the payment industry and domestic and cross border payment flows

• Knowledge of new developments in the payments industry, challenges therein, industry participants, regulatory changes, key market participants and have a view of the future of the payments ecosystem.

• A high level of energy and desire to educate both customers and internal colleagues on the capabilities and benefits of technical, financial products, by making complex solutions understandable and engaging for your audience.
