The Role

The Recruiting Coordinator will sit within the People team, reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, and will play a critical role in supporting SPAN's hiring efforts across the company. As SPAN continues to grow, this person will be the engine behind a smooth, candidate-friendly recruiting process, keeping interviews on track, hiring managers aligned to their responsibilities, data organized, and every candidate interaction reflecting the best of SPAN's culture. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their HR or recruiting career who wants broad exposure to talent acquisition across a variety of functions at a fast-moving clean energy company.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate interview scheduling for candidates across all teams and levels, working closely with hiring managers, interviewers, and recruiting leads to ensure a seamless experience

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the interview process, providing timely communication and a welcoming, professional experience at every touchpoint

  • Manage job postings across SPAN's ATS and external job boards, ensuring accuracy and consistency

  • Maintain and update candidate records and pipeline data in the ATS, keeping information current and reporting clean

  • Support offer letter preparation and pre-boarding coordination, partnering with HR and hiring managers on next steps post-offer

  • Assist with sourcing support for high-priority roles, including resume screening and initial outreach

  • Track recruiting metrics and help prepare reports on pipeline health, time-to-fill, and interview conversion rates for leadership review

  • Support the coordination of recruiting events, career fairs, and employer branding initiatives

  • Identify and surface process improvement opportunities to make SPAN's recruiting operations more efficient and candidate-friendly

  • Provide general administrative support to the People team as needed

About You

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in a recruiting or HR role, or similar role that requires attention to detail, coordination of resources, and strong communication skills.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple open roles and scheduling threads simultaneously

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable corresponding professionally with candidates and senior internal stakeholders alike

  • Demonstrated ability to learn new technology/tools and follow consistent process to improve efficiency within the technology

  • A proactive, service-oriented mindset - you anticipate needs, follow through, and treat every candidate interaction as a reflection of SPAN's brand

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience supporting high-volume recruiting in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

  • Proficiency with an ATS (Ashby or similar) and standard productivity tools (Google Workspace, Slack, etc.)

  • Familiarity with sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter

  • Interest in clean energy, hardware, or mission-driven companies

  • Experience supporting an HR or People team beyond recruiting coordination (onboarding, HRIS, etc.)
