Job description

  • Drive insight. Shape decisions. Partner with clients.

At ReachCentrum, part of ERM — a global leader in consulting — we are looking for a Project Financial Consultant to join our finance consulting team.

This is not a traditional reporting role. It is a consulting-facing position where you will act as a key business partner, helping project managers and clients understand complex financial situations, identify risks and opportunities, and support informed decision-making.

You will work at the crossroads of finance, client advisory, and regulatory projects, contributing directly to the success of international REACH Consortia.

  • Why this role stands out

  • Act as a trusted advisor, not just a financial reporter

  • Work closely with project managers and clients, influencing decisions

  • Gain exposure to complex, high-value, international projects

  • Play an active role in improving tools, processes, and ways of working

  • Develop a strong combination of financial expertise and consulting skills

  • Your impact

In this role, you will move beyond numbers to deliver clear, actionable financial insight.

You will:

  • Lead the preparation of high-quality financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and relevance for both internal and external stakeholders

  • Analyse project performance and translate financial data into meaningful insights and recommendations

  • Identify and explain variances, and work alongside project managers to drive corrective actions

  • Support decision-making by providing forward-looking views on budgets, risks, and financial performance

  • Act as a bridge between finance and non-finance stakeholders, making complex topics clear and accessible

  • Contribute to client discussions, bringing financial clarity and strengthening trust

  • Core responsibilities

  • Monitor assigned projects on a monthly basis, ensuring:

    • Accurate recording of financial transactions
    • Correct allocation of internal time
    • Adequate budget coverage
  • Ensure data integrity within reporting systems and support the transition to enhanced digital tools

  • Review and validate financial outputs before external communication

  • Translate the financial history and current position of each consortium into clear, structured reporting, supporting transparency and governance

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and controls

  • What we are looking for

We are looking for a consultative mindset combined with strong financial foundations:

  • Experience in project controlling, financial analysis, or business analysis

  • Ability to interpret data and communicate insights clearly to non-finance audiences

  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with confidence working across teams and geographies

  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, matrix environment

  • Proactive, curious, and solution-oriented

  • Strong interest in process improvement and value creation

  • Advanced Excel skills (essential)

  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus

  • What makes this role unique

  • You will work on confidential and highly specialised consortia projects, each with its own financial logic

  • You will combine technical expertise with advisory impact

  • You will operate in a setting where your work directly supports client outcomes and regulatory compliance

  • No two projects are the same — you will continuously learn, adapt, and grow as a consultant

  • Ready to grow as a finance consultant?

If you are looking to move into a role where you can combine finance, consulting, and client interaction, while developing a strong business partnering skillset in an international environment, we would love to hear from you.

The recommended recruiting range for this role is 28.000 - 32.000.
