About Jetson
Jetson is on a mission to accelerate the transition of 100 million homes across North America away from fossil fuels toward sustainable energy use. We believe in a future that is 100% electric and 100% better.
Homes are one of the largest sources of carbon emissions, yet adoption of solutions like heat pumps remains slow due to cost and complexity. Jetson is solving this by building the first fully vertically integrated home electrification company — making clean energy simple, transparent, and affordable.
We rely heavily on technology, automation, and data to scale this impact. At Jetson, we value people who are excellent at their craft, curious about new tools (including AI), and motivated to continuously improve how work gets done.
The Opportunity:
We are looking for a disciplined, systems-driven Supply Planner to own day-to-day replenishment planning across Jetson’s growing warehouse network. As we evolve our supply chain from spreadsheet-based planning to NetSuite-driven inputs — demand, inventory, and consumption — this role is the engine that turns those signals into the right material, in the right place, at the right time.
You will run MRP in NetSuite. This is a hands-on, high-accountability role for someone who understands replenishment mechanics and thrives on converting plans into executable supply. Jetson is adding new markets every month — this role is foundational to unlocking scale while optimizing cost.
What You Will Do:
- Run MRP in NetSuite — own the Supply Planning Workbench and Supply Plan Definitions, converting demand, inventory, and consumption signals into planned orders and acting on the resulting action/exception messages (release, reschedule in/out, cancel). You generate planned purchase orders for Procurement to execute, and planned transfer orders to rebalance stock across the warehouse network in anticipation of expansion and demand..
- Own the planning data that MRP depends on: item replenishment methods, vendor lead times, safety stock, and lot-sizing rules — keeping parameters accurate so outputs reflect reality at every site.
- Support the transition from spreadsheet-based planning to NetSuite-driven inputs, partnering with the systems team to operationalize and validate demand, inventory, and consumption configurations.
- Translate the demand plan and forecast into executable supply across the warehouse network, including stocking plans and parameter setup for new site launches, and support distribution/transfer planning between locations.
- Monitor exceptions, shortages, and excess; balance service level and fill rate against inventory investment, and drive root cause corrective action in partnership with Procurement, Warehouse Operations, and Systems.
- Build and maintain planning reporting and dashboards (SuiteAnalytics) for inventory health, fill rate, and on-time replenishment; surface risk before it becomes a stockout and provide supply-side inputs to the S&OP process.
What You Will Bring:
- 3+ years of supply or material planning, replenishment, or MRP execution experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on ERP planning experience required, experience specific to NetSuite is a plus.
- Strong command of MRP mechanics: replenishment methods, safety stock, lot sizing, lead-time management, and acting on planned orders and exception messages.
- Demonstrated experience moving planning off spreadsheets and onto a disciplined, ERP-driven process — and the data-integrity mindset to keep it trustworthy.
- Comfort working with large data sets and analytics tools (SuiteAnalytics, Excel); a root cause orientation that fixes problems at the source, not the symptom.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred; APICS/ASCM CPIM or CSCP certification a plus.
- Experience with modern tools, including AI, to automate and improve daily work required.
Pay: $70,000 - $78,000 per annum
