Job description
For automotive body electronics, motor control and comfort we provide a world leading portfolio of integrated mixed-signal solutions for microcontroller units (MCU).
In an environment of growth and new product development we seek to strengthen our mixed-signal design team with a Digital Design engineer for our modules in modern CMOS technology automotive applications, focusing on the digital design and advanced verification aspects.
You will be joining an international design team combining digital and analog design expertise. Working in 3 to 5 people project teams you will develop and own digital circuits and wrappers of complex mixed signal modules for the automotive space.
In your new role you will:
- Collaborate closely with the product definition engineers and the analog designers to define requirements and architecture of the digital environment for mixed signal circuits
- Develop the technical solutions for an implementation through to RTL level
- Create internal and customer documentation for your module
- Ensure the functional correctness of your circuit by applying advanced verification methods, including System Verilog simulation and formal verification in a UVM environment
- Support and follow through on validation activities, ensuring your module performs reliably within the full systemLeverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools for generating scripts and increase efficiency

Your profile:
- Master Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
- Experience with hardware description languages, Verilog (preferred) or VHDL
- Familiarity with verification of digital and / or mixed signal circuits, e.g. System Verilog test benches and assertions, formal verification; knowledge of UVM would be a plus
- Hands-on experience in digital circuit design, including clock and reset strategies (e.g., through academic or project work); experience with CAD tools (Synopsys, Cadence, etc.) is beneficial
- Experience working in a UNIX / Linux environment and with scripting languages (Perl, Python, TCL, or similar)
- Strong English communication skills and ability to thrive in an international team environment
Please note: The successful candidate may/will be responsible for security related tasks. The assignment may/will be in scope of security certifications, therefore a conscious and reliable way of working is necessary.
