We are looking for an accomplished Consulting Director to lead the growth of our Sustainable Product & Supply Chain (SP&SC) practice across Germany and Central Europe. This is a high-profile leadership opportunity for a commercially minded consultant who thrives at the intersection of business development, client leadership, and delivery excellence.
As a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, you will help some of the world's largest companies navigate complex challenges while building and growing a market-leading consulting portfolio focused on Scope 3 decarbonization and sustainable packaging transformation.
The Opportunity
This is a true seller-doer leadership role, ideal for someone who enjoys creating market opportunities, building lasting client relationships, winning strategic work, and ensuring successful project outcomes.
You will play a pivotal role in expanding ERM’s presence in Germany, helping clients transform their supply chains and product strategies while accelerating our commercial growth and market leadership.
Your focus areas will include:

Scope 3 Decarbonization – helping organisations design and implement supplier engagement and emissions reduction programmes that deliver measurable impact.

Sustainable Packaging & Packaging Strategy – supporting clients with compliance-led transformation, circularity initiatives, and value-creating packaging innovation.
What You’ll Do
Lead Commercial Growth
You will own and expand a strategic portfolio of opportunities across Germany and Central Europe by:

Building and converting a strong pipeline of consulting opportunities.

Developing trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across Procurement, Supply Chain, Operations, R&D, , and Finance functions.

Creating and executing go-to-market strategies focused on Scope 3 decarbonization and sustainable packaging solutions.

Partnering with ERM account leaders to grow strategic client relationships, particularly within the manufacturing sector.

Developing compelling proposals and value-driven business cases that translate client challenges into actionable solutions.
Strengthen ERM’s Market Presence
You will become a visible and influential voice in the market by:

Representing ERM at industry conferences, client forums, and thought leadership events.

Developing perspectives, case studies, and market insights that resonate with German and Central European clients.

Working closely with alliance partners and marketing teams to enhance ERM’s brand visibility and generate demand.

Helping organisations understand the commercial and benefits of supply chain and packaging transformation.
Build Capability and Innovation
You will help shape the future of our offering by:

You will lead major consulting engagements by:

What We’re Looking For
Experience
We're interested in leaders who bring a strong combination of commercial success and consulting expertise, including:

A proven track record of winning and delivering consulting engagements in , supply chain transformation, packaging, or related fields.

An established client network in Germany, with wider Central European connections highly desirable.

Experience leading large-scale, complex programmes involving multiple stakeholders and business functions.

Deep expertise in Scope 3 decarbonization, supply chain transformation, sustainable packaging, or ideally a blend of both.
