Job description

Role Purpose

We are seeking a Chief Finance Officer who will play a pivotal role as a partner to the CEO in driving financial performance and ensuring the company's growth and achieving its targets by 2030. This position requires exceptional financial leadership, an ability to provide solutions and insights, a strong business mindset, and a proven track record in scaling businesses.

The CFO will be responsible for the financial framework and set up to expand our presence in Vietnam as well as across legal entities worldwide, diversifying our product portfolio, preparing for different business models, and delivering exceptional financial reports across all channels.

Key Accountabilities

  1. Being the Financial Strategic Partner with the CEO to strongly support the business expansion both in VN and international markets.

    • Provide strategic financial guidance and propose short-term and long-term strategic business plan which reflect the company vision to grow in Vietnam and abroad.
    • Define key performance indicators for the company and international dimension to drive business decisions and solutions to growth, costs, profitability, and cash management.
  2. Sophisticatedly managing and ensuring the sufficient financial status of HUSK Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.

    • Manage cash flow, capital allocation, and investment decisions Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the company's financial health and performance.
    • Analyse financial data to provide insights and recommendations for improving profitability and efficiency.
    • Identify and address areas of risk and opportunity within the organization.
  3. Take ownership and leadership in optimizing and building the excellence of the finance operating model.

    • Continuously build finance capabilities, tools, and skills to increase efficiency and the value add of the Finance team across the business.
    • Develop talent and succession plans within the finance and strategy department.
    • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards.
    • Implement cost control measures and efficiency improvements.
    • Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (master's degree preferred).
  • CPA, CFA, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive finance and strategy leadership experience, with a track record of success in both commercial and manufacturing industries.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  • Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
