Carbon Data Analyst

About The Role (What you will get to do)
As a Carbon Data Analyst, you will be responsible for reviewing data from multiple data sources, communicating with Persefoni users via online chat to fill data gaps, and interfacing directly with the Persefoni platform. You will advance Persefoni’s mission to democratize carbon accounting and help simplify the process for users so that they can receive accurate, timely, and actionable data.
Responsibilities (What we expect)
- Understand and become a subject matter expert on the Persefoni platform and be able to troubleshoot any errors.
- Communicate clearly with clients on data gaps and obstacles in the carbon footprinting process.
- Transform data in excel to adapt to necessary requirements.
- Collaborate closely with the Persefoni’s internal carbon accounting experts.
- Develop an understanding of different carbon accounting calculation methodologies and input data types.
- Optimize processes to become more efficient with time.
- Support time zones of Persefoni global customers (USA, Europe, Japan, Singapore, etc.)
Qualifications (What you bring to the role)
- High level of excel proficiency.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a high proficiency in English and a high degree of attention to detail.
- Project management experience and ability to meet deadlines.
- Capable of successfully working multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in gathering, formatting, and visually representing data.
- Proven ability to work cross functionally with technical and non-technical roles.
- Growth mindset and eagerness to learn quickly.
- Carbon accounting experience is preferred but not required.
How You'll Know You’re on the Right Track
- Within your first two weeks, you will learn how to use the Persefoni platform and receive intensive training on the types of input data needed to perform calculations.
- By thirty days, you will be interfacing directly with clients via online chat and supporting them with their carbon footprinting.
- Within your first 90 days, you will begin to optimize the process and increase efficiency for supporting more clients.
Job Type:
Full-time position located in Vietnam governed by Vietnam labour regulations, with the Persefoni entity being established in Vietnam.
