sJob Responsibilities:

Prepare financial and regulatory reports to Group and to BNM and other regulatory authorities within stipulated timeline;
-
Prepare quarterly additional information to BNM that related to derivatives and commitments and contingents;
-
Ensure compliance with accounting standards (i.e., & MFRS), policies and regulatory guidelines;
-
Perform financial control functions including timely clearing of suspense accounts, conducting root cause analyses, performing reconciliations, and defining GL mapping rules;
-
Liaise with external and internal auditors and regulators on clarifications and to provide additional information as required;
-
Assist in attending to stakeholder queries in relating to derivatives and trade products;
-
Participate in strategic data analysis, research and analyse financial reports and market trends for senior management; and
-
Participate in and support in project initiatives, UAT testing and process improvements.
Job Requirements:
-
Degree / Professional qualification in accounting (e.g., ACCA/ICAEW/CPA/MICPA) / finance / economics.

All Leadership Competencies at Level 2 and with strong OCBC core values are required.

Knowledge and relevant experience in financial reporting and consolidation (e.g., Financial statements' preparation/ Group reporting/ loans/derivatives/trade products/ & Climate-related reporting) and regulatory reporting (i.e., BNM reporting, PIDM reporting, MAS reporting) would be an added advantage.

Possess good communication, analytical & writing and problem-solving skills.

Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Knowledge and experience in SQL, QlikView, Python, Power Query, Power BI, SmartView, and Oracle Fusion will be an added advantage.

Self-starter must have positive attitude towards work and work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to work under pressure to meet tight timelines and a team player.
