Video remote interpreting platform connecting blind, low-vision, Deaf, and hard-of-hearing users to professional interpreters on demand

Aira provides two mobile apps that connect users to professional remote interpreters via live video. Aira Explorer links people who are blind or low-vision to visual interpreters who describe their surroundings and convey written information verbally. Aira ASL connects Deaf and hard-of-hearing users to on-demand American Sign Language interpreters, with optional real-time captioning. Organizations - employers, universities, retailers - partner with Aira to offer the service free at their locations or to their communities.
