Job Description

You will join Mirova's legal team as a transactional lawyer, supporting management teams in various fields such as private asset funds in Europe, Asia, and North America, or debt funds in emerging countries (mainly Africa, South East Asia, and LATAM). You'll work closely with management teams investing in areas like energy transition (Infra funds), natural capital, and private equity.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Attending fund investment committees and providing legal recommendations
• Supporting investment teams to ensure all documentation is properly negotiated, structured, and documented
• Accompanying and supporting the negotiation of transaction documents, instructing and managing external advice, including local counsel
• Managing the transaction process, advising investment teams, and performing research or other tasks as requested
• Assisting with improvements to legal processes and documentation, and supporting investment teams on new product ideas and sectors

Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience

• Higher education with at least 7 years of experience in similar positions in a law firm or management company
• Familiarity with Private Equity/Venture Capital and transaction advisory
• Excellent interpersonal skills and very good listening ability
• Known for team spirit
• Analytical and rigorous
• English proficiency at C1 level
