Job Description Job Title: Sustainable Procurement Specialist Department & Team: Global Procurement Operations Reports to: Courtney Lathrop Location: Flexible / Virtual

Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team with a strong focus on sustainability and achieving long-term net-zero targets with our global suppliers. This position will be responsible for managing Supplier/Vendor Accountability.

This would be detailed work that would help us increase transparency, while avoiding or mitigating risks. These are very important topics in global businesses, which will continue to be elevated in social governance.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Coordinating or managing portal registration/ maintenance projects
  • Reviewing supplier's/ vendor's adherence to requirements for conducting business with Genesys
  • Coordinating or managing non-compliance
  • Reviewing resource requirements
  • Tracking metrics related to supplier compliance and risk
  • Analyzing ESG Supplier Survey responses
  • Coordinating or managing Supplier Diversity updates and certification expiry date process
  • Generating transparency through data preparation and consolidation
  • Developing and operating group-wide networks in the context of sustainability
  • Running projects for data consolidation and emission reduction in procurement
  • Introducing the framework for the achievements of sustainability goals
  • Supporting local entities in achieving sustainability goals
  • Making the CO2 Footprint within the Supply Chain visible
  • Playing a consultative role in responsible and sustainable procurement
  • Acting as an internal ambassador for CSR policies
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Degree in Sustainability/Procurement
  • At least 5 years of related experience
  • Committed to driving sustainability in the supply chain and procurement
  • Creativity, analytical thinking, communication skills and intercultural competence
  • Strong project and process management capabilities
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large and complex data sets
  • Knowledge of handling compliance and sustainability in the procurement process
  • Hands-on experience using systems such as Workday, EcoVadis, Cvent, Concur, etc.
  • Excellent PC skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Strong people skills to support remote users effectively
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Capable of managing multiple projects with good time management skills
  • Good understanding of business processes in the Technology domain
