Responsibilities:
- Participation in various Sustainability Assurance and Sustainability related consulting projects
- Proactively assist in the management of several clients, while reporting to Managers and above
- Train and lead staff
- Establish effective working relationships directly with clients
- Contribute to the development of your own and team's technical acumen
- Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues
- Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients
- Continue to develop internal relationships and your PwC brand
Essential skills & experience:
- Completed University degree in business, technical or scientific field (Finance, Economics, Environmental Sciences and Policy, Sustainable development, Environmental science)
- Understanding of sustainability regulation and reporting standards
- Assurance experience, including evaluating controls over financial and non-financial processes
- Understanding of some key non-financial assurance reporting and assurance standards and frameworks e.g. ISAE 3000, ISAE 3410
- Strong project management skills and a demonstrable experience of working on multiple engagements and managing your time effectively
- A key focus on delivering high quality work to tight deadlines
- The ability to apply independent judgment during engagements and to support conclusions reached by management
- The ability to coach junior team members
- Exceptional client relationship and communication skills
- A willingness to learn new skills and help develop and innovate new client propositions
- Fluency in English (both oral and written)
- Prior consulting experience is highly desirable, but not a prerequisite
