Job description
Sustainability Analyst
Job Summary:
We are looking for a talented sustainability professional who is passionate about making a difference. The Sustainability Analyst will help implement, achieve, refine, and report on Genesys' environmental, social and governance goals, targets and reduction, and broader sustainability evolution. The Sustainability Analyst will leverage our systems to support the evolution of dashboards and processes to track and report on progress to internal and external stakeholders. The role is responsible for important data analysis, collection, substantiation, and assurance, as well as research, materials, and coordination for significant cross-functional work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement, achieve, refine, and report on Genesys' global sustainability program goals
- Conduct data reporting for CSRD implementation
- Oversee carbon accounting process
- Leverage sustainability software and support dashboard evolution
- Support supplier self-assessment, verification, and capacity-building programs
- Collect, analyze, and substantiate climate, supply chain, social and other sustainability data
- Support customer proposal and RFP requests
- Create content for communicating about Genesys' sustainability work
Minimum Requirements:
- Strong understanding of science-based targets and sustainability reporting frameworks
- Project management and PowerPoint experience
- Experience with sustainability software helpful
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
- BA/BS in environmental sustainability or related quantitative analysis discipline
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant work experience in corporate environmental sustainability
