Job description
ERM Argentina is seeking a Social Senior Consultant to join our operation in Argentina. We extend the invitation to applicants from the northwestern provinces of the territory: Jujuy, Salta, La Rioja, Catamarca, Santiago del Estero, and Tucumán.
Competencies and conditions:
- Work with internal teams to develop cross-functional strategies that support client projects and initiatives regarding social impact and stakeholder engagement.
- Develop, coordinate, and implement large-scale public and community consultation programs involving contact with stakeholders in affected communities, landowners, the general public, elected officials, media, and advocacy groups at all levels.
- Plan and conduct socioeconomic studies, social impact assessments, and human rights impact assessments.
- Design community investment programs, social impact metrics, and monitoring and evaluation.
Tasks to develop:
- Bachelor's degree in social sciences (political science, anthropology, sociology, international relations, public affairs, archaeology).
- Work experience in social performance and community relations.
- Knowledge and understanding of key standards and best practices in social performance, e.g., from ICMM, IPIECA, IFC, would be an advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
- Ability to present information concisely and persuasively to clients, stakeholders, and colleagues.
- Great ability to organize, prioritize, and complete tasks with deadlines, as well as being flexible and adaptable to changes in priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to multitask, maintain flexibility, travel, and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to work full-time in a hybrid office/home environment.
