About the team

The Change Cluster is made up of three key areas - Supply Chain and Operations, Change Managed Capacity and Change Managed Services. We provide hands-on delivery capability, backed-up by tried and tested technology, methodologies and infrastructure to assist clients with their projects and programmes using a model that is cost effective and scalable.

About the role

Overall this role delivers project outputs. Working with clients to develop their sustainability strategy, the programme needed to effect change and to support clients with running the programme needed to achieve their sustainability targets. Working to set the project up for success, working the schedule, managing risks and issues, exploiting opportunities and solving problems as they arise. Critical to this role is managing stakeholders, internally to PwC, with our clients and externally.

Skills and Experience

  • You will have previous Project Management or Assistant Project Management experience covering the entire Project Lifecycle with direct experience.
  • Ability to apply a logical, solution based and analytical approach to work.
  • You will have a track record of engaging with stakeholders and developing those relationships.
  • You will have the ability to engage not just on the how, but also on the why with the courage to challenge.
  • Excellent project planning skills and experience of using project management and planning tools such as MS-Project.
  • Comprehensive working knowledge of the MS Office and/or Google Workspace (formally GSuite), and able to demonstrate a high proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • If you have a professional qualification such as PRINCE2, APMP, PMP, Agile, Scrum, this is great but not essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working directly with our internal stakeholders and external clients to ensure effective project delivery.
  • Support in scoping the high level requirements of projects and the development and preparation of Business Cases.
  • Development and maintenance of planning documentation including Project Plans, Plan in a Page, Milestone Plans etc.
  • Managing the Project Budget/Finances in accordance with contractual agreements.
  • Providing input into Project Reports including but not limited to Highlight Reports, Working Group Packs etc.
  • Development & Management of RAID Artefacts, including the identification and management of Risks, Issues etc.
  • Support the management of resources and suppliers.
  • Development and management of Change Controls Procedures.
  • Support the Closure / Transition of the project to BAU.
  • Production of presentations and excel based Management Information (MI) for senior management/stakeholders.
  • Utilising appropriate and repeatable technology solutions to support high quality, efficient outcomes
