About the Role
The Research Release Associate Director for the ESG Research Releases will be part of Sustainalytics' Research Release Team, which operates within Sustainalytics' ESG R&M Operations division. The Research Release Team aims to manage change (new product and feature releases, new strategies, operational enhancements) on behalf of the Research& Methodology Teams and swiftly transfer the new paradigms to the operations teams to support the teams' objectives in an agile and sustainable manner.
Job Responsibilities
• Act as the central point of contact for the Research & Methodology for cross-product requirements or other proposed product changes and translate them into research requirements across research teams, explaining the new product vision. • Act as a liaison between multiple stakeholders (Product Team, Technology, and Data Teams) and Research & Methodology teams, and ensure that all parties are aligned to achieve a coordinated and optimized outcome. • Coordinate with the Product Managers the roadmap planning implementation of new research releases through scope management and research release planning, with a focus on cross-product initiatives. • Update the project portfolio for the Research & Methodology cross-product developments and communicate progress to the stakeholders. • Support the Project Leadership in the decision-making processes, where there are several possible courses of action. • Provide input for the workload analysis and cost basis of any changes in close collaboration with the Research & Methodology Leads. • Oversee the implementation of the projects and partners with Research & Methodology Leads to ensure that research processes, guidance, and platforms are adjusted/developed to support new research requirements and ensure that operational gates/milestones are passed in a timely manner. • Support the Research & Methodology teams in the preparation of deliverables for the stage-gate process. • Lead the implementation of initiatives on quality and efficiency and builds mechanisms to measure and deliver benefits.
Qualifications
• Master's degree in economics, finance, business management, environmental or social sciences. • 8+ years of work experience in the ESG/financial industry • 3+ years of experience in ESG product development • Strong process management capabilities • Proven experience with change management and operating in an international environment. • Strong project management and execution skills, with the ability to set clear priorities • Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem-solving skills in a data-driven or research operations environment • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities, individually as well as part of a team • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage/connect and build effective relationships at different levels, while managing competing interests. • Results oriented • Innovative and creative • Positive attitude to change, with a 'can do' attitude • Demonstrated passion for sustainability and ESG • Meticulousness and attentiveness to detail
