About ERM and the SES Team:
ERM is the world's largest sustainability consulting firm. Its diverse teams of world-renowned experts support clients by leveraging technical expertise in environment, health, safety, risk, and social issues. The SES (Sustainable Energy Solutions) team, with 20 years of experience, specializes in energy and low-carbon technology consulting, helping organizations implement low-emission technological solutions to address energy transition challenges.
The SES team brings ERM in-depth expertise in developing, commercializing, and implementing emerging technologies such as decarbonized hydrogen and fuel cells, low-emission transport, industrial decarbonization, sustainable building, broad electrification, and carbon capture, storage, and utilization. The SES teams consist of over 150 consultants, primarily based in France and the UK, working in collaboration with ERM's 8,000 consultants worldwide, present in more than 38 countries.
Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with strong interpersonal skills to join our project management team. You will assist core team members in executing our innovative technology demonstration projects. As a member of the project management team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of complex, multi-stakeholder projects throughout their lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the project manager in all aspects of project delivery throughout its lifecycle, including project planning, budget management, risk management, quality management, and stakeholder engagement.
- Provide secretariat services for international multi-stakeholder projects, including organizing bi-annual meetings and hosting regular teleconferences.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Compile strategic research, briefing documents, reports, and presentations for project-related meetings and work.
- Develop strategies to communicate project results to technical and non-technical audiences.
Location:
Paris or Lille (occasional travel within Europe required).
Required Skills:
- Degree in a relevant discipline
- Excellent time management skills and ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in information technology and Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Fluency in French and English (C1 level), international experience appreciated
