Job description

ERM is seeking a Managing Consultant, Occupational Safety and Health to join our growing Health and Safety technical team in the Hartford office. In this role, you will manage health and safety compliance projects, safety oversight, risk assessments, industrial hygiene monitoring, and compliance assurance programs for clients locally, nationally, and internationally. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Help develop and implement innovative H&S programs and strategies in various areas including chemical safety, machine guarding, electrical safety, fire prevention, and more.
  • Identify and implement corrective actions to ensure compliance with regulations and fire codes.
  • Assist with data collection, review, and analysis to evaluate conditions and implement effective solutions.
  • Support clients' safety performance improvement through training, field coaching, and targeted EHS assessments.
  • Participate in project teams and business development activities.
  • Maintain and grow client relationships.
  • Ensure high-quality standards on project deliverables.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in safety, occupational health, engineering, or related science.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in regulatory compliance and health and safety programs.
  • Strong project management and communication skills.
  • Experience in safety data analysis and working in industrial environments.
  • Current or planned CIH or CSP certification.
  • Driver's license and ability to travel.

COMPENSATION:

  • Annual base pay range: $98,500 – $110,137 USD
  • Eligible for annual discretionary performance bonus
