Job description

Join our team and make a difference in the future of sustainability. At ERM, we are looking for a Health and Safety, Environmental & Sustainability Consultant. We have a hybrid work model, with two days a week in the Madrid office.

As a Health and Safety, Environmental & Sustainability Consultant, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Support the design and implementation of corporate Environmental, Health and Safety strategies and programs for HSE and Sustainability, including diagnostics, technical and compliance audits, awareness, training programs, and hazard and risk identification and assessment.
  • Conduct comprehensive environmental, safety, and health risk assessments, and develop action plans to mitigate them.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to raise awareness and train employees on sustainability, safety, and health issues.
  • Conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations, as well as continuous improvement of processes.
  • Lead the preparation of sustainability reports, including CSRD, taxonomy, and other international standards, to communicate the organization's environmental and social performance to stakeholders.
  • Lead innovative projects in areas such as circular economy, energy efficiency, and transition to a low-carbon economy.

Your ideal profile:

  • Deep knowledge of Spanish HSE legislation and relevant international guidelines (SDGs, TCFD, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, ISO 26000, SA8000).
  • Substantial and relevant experience (minimum [number] years) in consulting roles or in the industry, with a focus on HSE and sustainability.
  • Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Industrial Safety, Environmental Management, Natural Resource Management, or related disciplines.
  • Proven experience in managing sustainability-related projects, from planning to implementation.
  • Proficiency in tools and methodologies for risk assessment, project management, and sustainability reporting.
  • Advanced level of English (C1) both spoken and written.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with different levels of the organization and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of other languages, especially French, will be valued.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify improvement opportunities and develop innovative solutions.
  • Results-oriented and ability to work autonomously and in a team.
