Job Summary

As a Consultant / Senior Consultant – Sustainable Asset Advisory, you will provide advisory services for sustainable assets with a strong emphasis on building energy performance, energy modeling, and HVAC system optimization. This role combines deep technical expertise with hands-on, on-the-ground implementation capabilities to deliver measurable improvements in asset efficiency and outcomes. You will lead and support energy audits, HVAC system assessments, and building energy modelling to identify energy efficiency opportunities, optimize system performance, and support decarbonization pathways. The role requires close client engagement, site-based evaluations, and the ability to translate technical analysis into actionable, investment-grade recommendations. Also support the delivery of advisory services aligned with global green building and asset performance frameworks such as , WELL, and GRESB, ensuring that energy and strategies are fully integrated into asset design, operation, and investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide energy efficiency improvement and cost reduction recommendations for clients’ physical assets based on ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers) standards.

  • Deliver tailored client solutions leveraging strong expertise in major real asset certifications and assessment frameworks such as , WELL, and GRESB, as well as up-to-date practices across industries and regions.

  • Ensure regulatory compliance and strategic alignment based on a solid understanding of building decarbonization.

  • Work closely with project managers to plan and execute real asset advisory projects with clear objectives and expected benefits for both clients and ERM.

  • Conduct energy audits, certification assessments, stakeholder interviews, and due diligence for physical assets.

  • Utilize advanced MS Excel skills to analyze data and prepare dashboards, reports, and presentations with actionable insights
    (experience with data visualization tools or MACC (Marginal Abatement Cost Curv__e_)__, CRREM (Carbon Risk Real Estate Monitor) experience_ is a plus).

  • Maintain strong client communication to deliver service excellence and support proposal development and deal execution.

  • Lead or coordinate multi-workstream projects across a client’s platform in a collaborative manner.

  • Develop high-quality reports and metrics, and confidently present findings virtually or in person.

  • Collaborate with team members to continuously enhance methodologies and share best practices in real asset energy management and decarbonization internally.

  • Meet individual billability targets and contribute to project profitability, while working independently under pressure and maintaining flexibility in working hours.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s/master’s degree in environmental science and engineering, Architectural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related fields.

  • Experience: 5–7 years in energy and decarbonization consulting, real asset certifications and assessment frameworks such as , WELL, and GRESB projects.

  • Certifications such as , WELL, GRESB AP credentials are an advantage.

  • Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
