ERM France currently employs 180 people across Paris and Lyon. As part of our team growth, we are recruiting a:

Consultant in Contaminated Land Management (Associate Level)

What you will do:

  • Participate in writing technical and financial proposals
  • Conduct targeted field activities (soil, groundwater, and soil gas/ambient air sampling)
  • Supervise subcontractors and oversee remediation work
  • Analyze and interpret environmental data
  • Work on team projects under the supervision and guidance of the project manager
  • Assist in project management alongside the project manager
  • Write detailed technical reports
  • Travel 50-80% of the time, mainly within France

Your profile:

  • Master's degree in geology-hydrology or a similar field
  • 2 to 5 years of experience, interest in field missions (experience in environmental fieldwork is a plus)
  • Good level of French (oral and written, necessary for report writing) and a correct level of English
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills; experience in writing technical reports is an asset
  • Autonomous, rigorous, and appreciative of teamwork
  • Available for frequent travel in France (or abroad) depending on the health context
  • Valid driver's license
  • Lively and proactive, with attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, flexible, open to travel in France and abroad, ability to work autonomously
  • Strong commitment to health and safety, including adherence to established protocols
