Job Overview

Earthene provides SaaS services to support companies in reducing greenhouse gas emissions towards realizing a decarbonized society. As a Policy Affairs and Advocacy Manager, you will play a crucial role in realizing a decarbonized society through policy recommendations, opinion exchanges, and relationship building with government agencies, in collaboration with related companies and industry associations.

Job Responsibilities

Working in coordination with internal management and related departments (PR, knowledge team, etc.), you will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Policy research: Investigate, analyze, and share information on decarbonization-related policy trends
  • Policy recommendations: Prepare, submit, and explain policy proposals to government agencies
  • Opinion exchange: Engage in discussions and build relationships with government agency representatives
  • Collaboration with industry associations: Cooperate with Climate Tech industry associations and participate in policy recommendations
  • Advocacy activities: Disseminate information and organize events to promote decarbonization policies
  • Other duties related to policy affairs and advocacy

Requirements

Essential Skills

  • 5-10 years of relevant work experience (experience working in government agencies is not specifically required)
  • Understanding of the Climate Tech industry
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Relationship-building ability

Preferred Skills

  • Specialized knowledge of environmental issues and decarbonization
  • Network with government-related organizations
  • Project management skills
  • Experience in giving presentations in English
