Job description
The Administrative Assistant is an integral member of the Administrative Team at ERM and is responsible for contributing to the effective operation of the Ottawa office, as well as other Eastern Canada offices, and supporting the business development needs of consulting staff.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reception Support
- Front desk responsibilities
- Answer and direct incoming general inquiry phone calls
- Greet and direct visitors
- Maintain desk spaces for employees and visitors
- Maintain orderly appearance in office areas
- Handle mail and courier services

Administration
- Assist with event organization
- Schedule conference calls and web meetings
- Coordinate office maintenance requests
- Lead office health and safety initiatives
- Support travel arrangements
- Create expense reports
- Compile operational reports
- Format complex documents
- Manage contacts and mailing lists
- Track events and complete registrations
- Support sustainability reporting
- Assist with Government of Canada Security Program
SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:
- High school diploma or Diploma in Office Administration
- 1-2 years of administrative experience
- Ability to obtain security clearance
- Bilingualism in French/English (asset)
- Detail-oriented with strong work ethic
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task and manage priorities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe
- Strong customer service skills
- Highly motivated and flexible
