Indigo AgESG & Sustainability Jobs
Indigo Ag combines biological seed treatments and regenerative agriculture programs to improve soil health, farm profitability, and supply chain sustainability.
Indigo Ag works with farmers, agribusinesses, and corporate supply chain partners to build more resilient food systems. Its core offerings include biological seed and foliar treatments (biotrinsic) powered by naturally occurring microbes, a seed treatment application device (CLIPS), a soil carbon credit program, and a supply chain traceability platform (Source By Indigo) that connects companies with the farmers growing their raw materials.
Why it matters
Agriculture is both a major source of greenhouse gas emissions and a potential carbon sink. Indigo addresses this through two mechanisms: helping farmers adopt regenerative practices that build soil carbon - then measuring and verifying those improvements for sale as carbon credits - and enabling corporate buyers to reduce Scope 3 emissions and conserve watersheds by supporting on-farm practice changes in their supply chains. The biological products aim to reduce reliance on synthetic inputs by helping crops use nutrients more efficiently.
Indigo works across the US and internationally, partnering with major agribusinesses and corporations. Its sustainability roles focus on program design, measurement, and compliance for these carbon and supply chain initiatives.
