IFRSESG & Sustainability Jobs
IFRS Foundation develops and promotes globally accepted financial reporting standards to enhance transparency and accountability.
The IFRS Foundation is a not-for-profit, public interest organisation that develops and maintains two sets of global standards: IFRS Accounting Standards, used by companies in more than 140 jurisdictions to report financial health, and IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards, developed by the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB).
Why it matters
The ISSB standards are designed to give investors consistent, comparable sustainability-related disclosures from companies worldwide - covering climate risk, governance, and other ESG factors. By establishing a common disclosure language, the Foundation aims to close the information gap between companies and investors on sustainability risks and opportunities. The Foundation also maintains the SASB Standards and incorporates TCFD recommendations into its sustainability framework.
Staff roles span technical standard-setting (IASB and ISSB), digital taxonomy development, project management, and capacity-building partnerships - making it a significant employer for professionals at the intersection of finance, sustainability reporting, and global policy.
