Concrete actions include removing over 600 tonnes of plastic from one subsidiary's product cycle since 2019 and transitioning plastic bottles to 80% recycled content. The Carlsberg Research Laboratory also conducts open science - recently publishing the genetic code of hops in Nature Communications - to help the brewing industry adapt crops to a warming climate.
