Why it matters

Fashion is one of the most emissions-intensive industries, and measuring impact at the product level is notoriously hard given complex, multi-tier supply chains and thousands of components per SKU. Carbonfact addresses this by combining a fashion-specific dataset of 150,000+ emission factors with an AI layer that fills data gaps and builds accurate assumptions - replacing slow, consultant-led processes. Beyond measurement, the platform includes eco-design tools that let teams simulate how design changes reduce a product's footprint before it goes into production.
